The details
- Rate
- $195 per week, per trailer, plus applicable state taxes.
- Security deposit
- $800, refundable — returned after the rental ends, minus any damage, cleaning, or outstanding fees.
- Minimum rental period
- 3 months. After the initial 3 months, it converts to week-to-week.
- Payment terms
- Billed weekly.
- Returns
- The trailer must be returned in the same condition. Late returns and damage may incur charges.
- Use
- Trailers are for lawful freight use only. No subletting.
Insurance Requirements
Renters must carry their own coverage and provide a certificate of insurance (COI) before pickup. Your policy must include:
- $1,000,000 liability
- $30,000 physical damage OR trailer interchange coverage
- Add Freightline Capital LLC dba Preferred Trailer Rental as additional insured on the policy
- List the VIN of the rented trailer on the certificate of insurance (COI)
